At My Five Loaves, we believe that even the smallest offerings, when made with love, can be multiplied into something extraordinary. Our journey begins with a legacy of faith, family, and the beautiful lessons passed down from a remarkable woman—our mother.

Growing up as the oldest of five girls, I watched my mother with awe as she welcomed people into our home. She was a master in the kitchen, known not for her baking, but for her ability to create meals that nourished both body and soul. My mother always reminded us that, with God, all things are possible. Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of our home, and her hospitality was a gift to everyone who knew her.

Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in everything I create. Our father continues to reinforce the values my mother carried—reminding us that faith is not passive but active. My Five Loaves is not just a bakery; it’s a tribute to my mother’s belief that what we have, no matter how small, can be transformed into abundance when offered with an open heart. Inspired by the biblical story of the little boy who brought five loaves and two fish to Jesus, we carry this same message in our work: that the small, humble things we offer can be multiplied to nourish many. The number five in our company’s name also holds biblical significance—it represents grace. Just as God’s grace is abundant and undeserved, we believe that the simplest gifts, when given with love and faith, can be transformed into something far greater than we could ever imagine.

As a professionally trained pastry chef, I’ve dedicated a good portion of my life to perfecting the art of baking. But My Five Loaves isn’t just about technique or ingredients; it’s about bringing forth what is inside—faith, love, and creativity—just as the Gospel of Thomas reminds us: "Bring forth what is inside you, and it will save you."

In every confection, cupcake, bread, and pastry we make, you’ll find a piece of this story. Just as my mother’s love filled our home, we hope to fill yours with the warmth and sweetness of our creations.
